New York City Councilman Jumaane Williams is warning of a public backlash over the NYPD’s screening of an anti-Muslim film if Police Commissioner Ray Kelly and Mayor Michael Bloomberg don’t address the criticism.
Kelly was interviewed for the film and news broke this week that it was shown “on continuous loop” on NYPD property. The Muslim community is calling for Kelly’s resignation.
