The National Rifle Association criticized the Obama administration for simply “checking a box” by meeting with gun owner groups at the White House on Thursday, saying there was few if any common ground between the two sides.
“We are not going to agree on these gun questions,” said NRA President David Keane on CNN. “It was a polite but not a real conversation.”
