Nikki Haley Hit With Ethics Probe

The AP reports South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (R) is the subject of a new probe by the State Ethics Commission:

The complaint accuses Haley of failing to maintain proper records of donors’ occupations. It also says the Republican didn’t disclose addresses for six campaign contributors.

 

Last month, a circuit judge dismissed a lawsuit accusing Haley of breaking ethics laws while she was a legislator, saying such issues should be handled by either state ethics officials or a legislative panel.
