Newsweek on Wednesday previewed its next cover for a story on “What Silicon Valley Thinks of Women.”

The cover image depicts a mouse cursor lifting up the dress of a woman holding a laptop.

The imagery on the cover quickly sparked controversy on Twitter.

    Can’t wait for the Newsweak story about what Silicon Valley thinks of African Americans. I hear they have a picture of an African American being lynched in a data center.

    Going after the racism and sexism in Silicon Valley is long past overdue but this sensationalist bs is making me think Newsweak isn’t going to be up to the task.
