The New York Times has posted a correction for mistakenly bestowing former Vice President Dick Cheney with a more elevated title than he deserved.
The correction appeared online beneath an article published in Wednesday’s print edition that described Cheney’s trip to Capitol Hill to try to convince House Republicans to push for a strong military and avoid isolationism within the party.
Here it is:
h/t Colin Campbell
the earlier version of the story seems most correct.
Pres or Vice?
Matter of opinion.
You mean it wasn’t a Cheney/Bush administration? Have you clarified that with Cheney?
Cheney = President
Bush = Resident
You can’t blame the reporter for being confused. For 8 years most of us wondered who was president and who was vice-president.
