NBC: Romney Calls Gulf Coast Governors As Hurricane Closes In

Presumptive Republican Mitt Romney on Tuesday called the three governors whose states are bracing for Hurricane Isaac, NBC’s Garrett Haake reports. 

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R), Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant (R) and Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley (R) all spoke with Romney about the storm and local response efforts, a Romney aide told NBC.
