NASA And Microsoft Release Mars Rover Game For XBox Kinect

NASA and Microsoft on Monday unveiled NASA’s first ever console video game: The Mars Rover Landing game is available now for free download by XBox 360 Kinect users in Microsoft’s Games Marketplace.

The game allows users to use their bodies to virtually control NASA’s Curiosity rover during its landing on the surface of the Red Planet, which NASA scientists will have to do for real on August 6. The Curiosity rover is part of the Mars Science Laboratory mission, which will search for evidence that Mars was ever able to support life. Here are some screenshots of the game:
