House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) called on Sunday for an investigation into President Donald Trump’s personal and business ties to Russia.
“I want to know what the Russians have on Donald Trump,” Pelosi said in an interview on NBC News’ “Meet The Press.”
“We have to have that investigation by the FBI into his financial, personal and political connections to Russia, and we want to see his tax returns so we can have truth in the relationship between Putin, whom he admires, and Trump,” she said.
In an interview with Fox’s Bill O’Reilly set to air Sunday, Trump said that he wants to “get along with Russia” and dismissed concerns about Russian President Vladimir Putin’s authoritarian regime by saying that the United States is not “so innocent.”
“We’ve got a lot of killers,” Trump said. “What, you think our country’s so innocent?”
