MSNBC President Phil Griffin on Wednesday defended his network against claims that it is simply cheering for President Obama. “That’s painting in big, fat, ugly strokes and it’s just not right,” Griffin told The Huffington Post’s Michael Calderone.
Griffin said his network sets itself apart from Fox News and even CNN by going “deeper.” While Fox News pulls in viewers who leave the network on all day, Griffin said MSNBC attracts viewers with its “individual” people.
