MSNBC edited a segment featuring Roger Stone, a former adviser for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s campaign, out of its broadcast of “All Due Respect” on Monday, a network spokeswoman confirmed to TPM.
“All Due Respect” airs on Bloomberg TV at 5 p.m. ET and on MSNBC at 6 p.m. ET. Media Matters first flagged that while Stone’s interview was shown on Bloomberg, a campaign rally for Republican presidential candidate Ohio Gov. John Kasich aired over the same segment of the show when it aired on MSNBC.
The MSNBC spokeswoman told TPM on Tuesday afternoon that Stone had been edited out of the segment and is banned from the network.
CNN announced in February that it would no longer allow Stone to appear on that network after he fired off a series of disparaging tweets about some of its correspondents.
No punch bowls for you!!
Perhaps CBS should take a look at him too. They fired one of their most respected Journalists over a prank set up by Mr. Stone.
This only improves his cred with Trump.
