Former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney isn’t planning on attending the GOP convention that will presumably nominate Donald Trump.

“Governor Romney has no plans to attend convention,” an aide to the former Massachusetts governor told The Washington Post on Thursday.

In early March, Romney railed against Trump on national television in a last-ditch effort to unite the fractured Republican Party against him and prevent him from obtaining the nomination. Romney walked viewers through what a Trump presidency would look like and questioned his business practices.

Romney later appeared on the campaign trail alongside Ohio Gov. John Kasich. Trump’s win in the Indiana primary on Tuesday paved his way to the nomination and both remaining candidates, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Kasich, dropped out of the race shortly thereafter.
