Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is rarely a man of many words, but this quote may take the cake.
When asked if he thinks Mexico will pay for President Donald Trump’s border wall with Mexico Thursday, McConnell summed it up in two syllables.
“Uh, no,” he said.
The issue, which has been a major talking point since Trump came down the escalators and announced his intent to run for the presidency, came up during a Politico Playbook event. While he greeted the question about the border wall with a chuckle and two words, McConnell had more to say about other issues including national security and the Supreme Court.

That’s cute. But the real question: Will McConnell push a bill in the senate for the US to pay for the wall?
Senator, will the wall work?
“Uh, no.”
Nice shot, Yertle…
When asked if he thinks Trump voters are dumb enough to believe it anyway, McConnell also summed it up in two syllables.
“Uh, yes,” he said.
Who’s paying then, Turtleman? I don’t want to pay for it and nobody else does either.
