A longshot mayoral candidate in Minneapolis released a campaign video online this week in which he appears half-naked and pledges to stay out of strip clubs.
The video from Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party candidate Jeff Wagner has been widely circulated in the days following its release, with national outlets like The Washington Post taking notice.
In the video, Wagner emerges from a body of water wearing his swim trunks and holding a coffee mug before launching a long-winded rant.
“I will not take money from the developers, I will not take money from the political angle, I will not even go to the strip clubs anymore,” Wagner said. “Wake the f*ck up!”
The video closes with Wagner walking back into the water, coffee mug in hand.
