Fox host Geraldo Rivera exploded at presidential candidate and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) on Monday for comparing President Barack Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran to the Holocaust.
“As a Jew… it was inappropriate. There are some places you cannot go,” Rivera said during Huckabee’s interview on the Fox News show “The Five.” “You cannot compare the slaughter of six million Jews to anything other except maybe the slaughter of the Armenians or something else in history. You cannot compare it to a negotiation over a deal like this, Governor.”
Huckabee said on Saturday in an interview with Breitbart News that Obama “will take the Israelis and march them to the door of the oven.”
“You have offended many, many people in the Jewish community. … It is inappropriate to compare the Holocaust to anything,” Rivera said. “And if you start using as a sloppy rhetorical phrase, you’re gonna get in trouble.”
Huckabee was also criticized for his comments Monday by fellow presidential hopefuls, including Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton.
“This was the systematic attempt by an industrialized nation to wipe out a race of people. That is different. That is unique,” Rivera said. “You may not go there! And I’m begging you to apologize and retract that.”
“I will not apologize, and I will not recant because the word ‘holocaust’ was invoked by the Iranian government,” Huckabee said. “They used that very word.”

So, that comparison means that Hucksterbee is at the same disgusting, demonic, demagogic level at the Iranian government!
PS: For once in a VERY LONG TIME, I see a reason to respect Geraldo (Gerald Michael to his moyel & his five meshugganah wives) Rivera. It won’t last, but I’ll give him props for this.

Geraldo has no idea how pitiless the GOP base can be when the crazy meter is at 11 and your only shtick is Evil Gomer Pyle from Star Trek episode 5.
This is one of those times when a person refuses to give up the anvil he’s given himself, and the rest of us–including the very person/people on whose behalf the anvil got picked up in the first place–can do nothing but watch in gape-mouthed astonishment as he goes striding toward the end of the pier.
EDIT: Meanwhile, the Newsmax feed’s top story says that an aide to Trump approves of Huck’s rhetoric. Maybe there are two anvils being lugged around that pier.
