Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) tweeted Thursday that his “heartfelt prayers go out to the victims” of a mass shooting that took place at a Charleston, S.C. church.
The 2016 Republican presidential candidate and former Baptist pastor responded to the Wednesday shooting by a white man at the historic black Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church that left nine dead.
Huckabee’s tweet is below:
My heartfelt prayers go out to the victims of the shooting at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston.

My, my a goodly chunk of all the political gun loving hate inflamers seem to sense their impending implication…
I have to wonder how Huckabee and Jindal would have framed their comments if this had happened some place where gays were gathered.
Um, sir, you don’t have a heart. Did you forget?
Well, he tweeted it, so we know it’s from the heart.
Yes, I know I’m an old fart, but I really resent using Twitter for expressing these kinds of sentiments. And that goes for anyone, of any political persuasion.
