“The Nightly Show” answered an important demographic question on Wednesday night: Who has the best chance of winning the black vote?
The answer, according to show contributor Mike Yard, is Republican presidential candidate and former reality television star Donald Trump.
Trump’s campaign maneuvers have been “straight-up ’90s hip-hop,” he said.
“White people love hip hop,” Yard said. “Republicans love it even more when it’s coming from a white guy!”
From releasing a sitting senator’s phone number to using a Neil Young song without permission, Trump is distilling ’90s hip-hop culture into the political process.
“Trump is the Macklemore candidate,” Yard said.
