Jim Messina, President Obama’s campaign manager, argues that Democrats have an advantage in registration and early voting in essentially every swing state in a new video released by the campaign Wednesday. In the “State of the Race” video, Messina speaks directly to the camera and argues that Obama is polling ” ahead or tied in every single battleground state” and goes state-by-state to show early vote advantages in each swing state.
“So folks, we’re ahead of where we were against John McCain at this point in 2008, and most importantly, we’re ahead of Mitt Romney,” Messina concludes.
