Fox News host Megyn Kelly spoke with PBS’ Charlie Rose about the network’s war with Donald Trump on Wednesday, during which she said she believes the real estate mogul will join her show again at some point.
As Trump attacked Kelly over the questions she asked him at the first Republican presidential debate and repeatedly complained about Fox’s coverage of his campaign, but Kelly said on Wednesday that Fox never “wanted any sort of a war with Donald Trump.”
“We didn’t think that benefitted the channel, we didn’t think it benefitted me, and we don’t think it benefitted Donald Trump,” she said. “We just wanted to forge forward and put it behind us and not pour anymore fuel on that fire.”
When asked if Trump would return to her show, Kelly said, “I’m sure he’ll come back on eventually.”
“Sooner rather than later?” Rose then asked.
“Well, it has to be just right. I think that will be a big moment. Don’t you think that’ll be a big television moment?” Kelly responded. “I think we have to handle that just right.”
“I want to ask him all the things people want me to ask him, you know, like, ‘Why did you get so upset? What do you think about how it went in the days after? Any regrets on it?'” she said. “Which I think we both know the answer to that: no.”

I look forward to his visit, where he explains why he dropped out of the race.
She’s like an abused woman welcoming the man who beat her back into her home.
Disgusting.
“I want to ask him all the things people want me to ask him,…”
What’s with the women on Fox News wearing cocktail dresses to work? It’s October so don’t tell me Megyn is wearing a sundress.
To me it was more like housebreaking a dog who’s not catching on real fast. He’ll be OK in the house at some point in the future, you just can’t say for sure when.
