Massachusetts Special Election To Take Place June 25

The special election to replace outgoing Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) has been scheduled to take place June 25, the Commonwealth’s secretary of state announced Monday. The primary date will be April 30, the Boston Globe reported.

“It’s going to be a momentous week,” said Secretary of State William F. Galvin. “Once we set the date, the race is on.”
