At a Tuesday morning press conference, Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick (D) noted that more than 150 people were injured — “some gravely” — in the deadly bombings that erupted near the finish line of the Boston Marathon.

Previous reports had pegged the number of people wounded at around 140.

“Our thoughts go out to all of those injured and killed, and to their families and friends,” Patrick said.
