Conservative pundit Mark Levin had some choice words Tuesday for Fox News in regards to its coverage of Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump.
Levin, a supporter of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), went off on Fox News for its treatment of Trump, starting with the network’s refusal to give context to Cruz’s meltdown over Trump’s floating of an unsubstantiated National Enquirer story about Cruz’s father.
Levin specifically targeted Fox’s “The Five” for not clearing up the conspiracy theory that Cruz’s father was photographed with Lee Harvey Oswald around the time of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, calling the network a “Donald Trump Super PAC.”
“They may be laughing today, but they’re going to be rubbing their own faces in their own feces, I’ll tell you that, after this general election, because they have humiliated themselves,” Levin said. “Does Donald sound like he’s cutting a joke?”
During his tirade, Levin took shots at “Fox and Friends” and “Outnumbered” for taking it easy on Trump and for not asking follow-up questions about the “ludicrous” article.
“And what the hell is with the hosts on the ‘Fox and Friends’ show? They didn’t even challenge Trump!” Levin said. “Not a damn question! Nothing! Zero!”
Levin had no love for Trump and his surrogates’ glib attitude either, saying Trump is doing “a hell of a pathetic job” of uniting the Republican Party.
“They think this is funny?” he asked. “We are going to get our asses kicked in the general election, ladies and gentlemen!”
A Fox News spokesperson did not immediately respond Wednesday morning to a request for comment from TPM.

I do believe the blind pig just found an acorn.
Mmm…his tears taste like candy.
And Josh wonders how long before “The Great One” embraces Trump.
Interesting times for the GOP in general, but it’s also interesting times for the traditional GOP Propaganda machine that has served them for almost 30 years. Trump locked horns with Roger Aisles, and eventually made Aisles bend down and kiss the ring. Levin & Beck we’re all in Pro-Cruz/Anti-Trump. Rush never fully went full anti-Trump, but sounded off on him repeatedly and seemed sympathetic towards Cruz as a “true conservative”. Combined with the fact that AM Talk radio seems to be a dying medium with podcasts, YouTube and social media, it seems like this signals an end of an era (at last).
I’m sure the GOP will try to replace it with something, but highly doubtful it will be as powerful as the AM Talk Radio Propaganda Talkingpoint Regurgitation Machine during it’s heyday during the Clinton and Bush Administrations. I grew up in rural Texas when the state was liberal enough to elect unapologetic Pro Choice Democrat Ann Richards as governor. There was a clear line of demarcation pre-Rush and post-Rush in the early 90s when he came rolling out through the syndicated airwaves. It was never the same after.
Funny how none of these wingnutters has ever had a problem with the FoxSpew as long as they were lying about and attacking Democrats.
Anyone remember “A terrorist fist bump”?
