Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) on Sunday defended recent comments he made that President Obama wants to take away Americans’ guns during a heated interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos.
In an ad released last week, Rubio claimed that following the attack in San Bernardino, Obama would like to “take away our guns.”
During a Sunday interview on ABC’s “This Week,’ Stephanopoulos asked Rubio where Obama has called for Americans’ guns to be taken away.
“Well, his proposal for everything is to infringe on the Second Amendment,” Rubio said in response.
Stephanopoulos then asked if Rubio really believed Obama wants to take Americans’ guns away.
“Well, if he could, he would,” Rubio said in response. “Obviously he knows he’s contained by the Second Amendment so what he tries to do is chip away at it every chance he gets.”
The ABC host asked again when Obama had called for the removal of Americans’ guns.
Rubio repeated that Obama would take away guns if he could, then said, “He is trying to keep guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens by continuing to put new restrictions on our guns.”
Watch the interview via Rubio’s campaign. Stephanopoulos brings up Rubio’s claims about gun control at the 6:45 mark.
Hi, my name is Marco Rubio, I’m from Cuba and I work for the NRA - vote for me for President and I’ll put a gun on every dinner table.
Rubio’s such an unpleasant little rodent.
Boobio also thinks that if he is elected President he’ll introduce tax breaks for ammo stockpiling and legislation to once again allow domestic violence convictions to no longer be a disqualification for owning guns…
He pouts, whines and makes excuses better than any other 5-year old. Would a Cruz suggest a spanking?

I swear to God that I have had more substantive conversations with a 4 year old. This guy should be the poster child for special education, not running for President.
