Republican presidential candidate and Sen. Marco Rubio (FL) said very confidently during the CNN debate on Wednesday night that America is not a planet.

“America is a lot of things, the greatest country in the world, absolutely,” Rubio said, talking about climate change. “But America is not a planet.”

  1. Oh very good, Marco but we’ve known that for some time now.

  2. I almost feel sorry for that ignorant bastard.

  3. While his comment is absolutely mock-worthy, it’s also concerning given the context of his answer. Basically, he was saying that since the U.S. doesn’t put out 100% of the carbon emissions of this world, then it shouldn’t take any responsibility in cutting them. American exceptionalism right there.

  4. Dan Quayle knew that Mars was a planet!
