Ohio Man Accidentally Shot Brother While Removing Gun From Safe

Jacob Hamm, a Springfield, Ohio resident, on Wednesday accidentally shot his teenage brother while removing a gun from a safe, police told the Associated Press.

The teenager suffered non-life-threatening injuries when he was shot in the abdomen and arm, police told the AP.

The teen was taken to a local hospital for treatment, but his condition was unknown on Thursday.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident and has not yet charged Hamm, according to the AP.
