The White House announced Sunday that Malia Obama, President Obama and Michelle Obama’s elder daughter, will attend Harvard University.

She will take a gap year before beginning her studies and attend the university in the fall of 2017 as a member of the class of 2021, the office announced.

The White House didn’t specify what Malia Obama would be studying. She has expressed interest in working on TV productions. She spent a day in 2014 as a production assistant on Halle Berry’s series, “Extant” and last year interned with HBO’s series, “Girls.”

The Obamas have said they will stay in Washington a couple of years after the presidency so Sasha Obama can finish her time in high school.
