Authorities have identified the students injured in the Monday morning shooting at an Ohio high school.
Cameron Smith, 15, and Cooper Caffrey, 14, sustained gunshot wounds, WCPO reported. Brant Murray, 14, and Katherine Doucette, 14, were injured by flying shrapnel, the station reported.

Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones said the suspect, a 14-year-old male, used a .380 caliber weapon in the shooting.
The suspect, who has not been publicly identified, fled the school grounds before being taken into custody, Jones said.
The two students who were shot are 14 and 15 years old, WCPO reported on air, and two students were injured by shrapnel. Their injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
UPDATE 2: 1:06 PM ET
Cincinnati’s WCPO reported live on the air that two students were shot in the school’s cafeteria and two were injured while escaping the school, possibly by “flying shrapnel.”
The network also reported that a handgun was used in the shooting, citing information from Butler County Sheriff’s chief deputy Anthony Dwyer.
UPDATE 1: 12:48 PM ET
Butler County Sheriff’s chief deputy Mike Craft said three students were shot but there was no continuing danger at Madison High School in Madison Township, Ohio, WHIO reported. The shooting was reported at around 11:30 a.m. local time.
One suspect is in police custody, Craft also said.
Cincinnati’s WCPO reported that two students were shot and two were injured while escaping.
The junior/senior high school remained on lockdown, but the Madison Local School District confirmed on Facebook that students would be dismissed once the scene was cleared by the Bulter County sheriff.
Welp, guns at school brought to you by the NRA and the GOP. Just sayin’.
This is very close to where I grew up and still own property.
Donald Trump has committed on day one to decree there will be no schools that can exclude guns on their property.
These kind of things need to stop. Enough of gun-free criminal inviting schools. We should let all law-abiding high schoolers carry gun. Worse thing it can happen is a bit grade inflation.

Their homework assignment: survive their wounds.
