Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D-CA) took to the House floor Thursday to demand NBC disinvite Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump from hosting “Saturday Night Live.”
“I rise today to encourage ‘Saturday Night Live’ to disinvite Donald Trump from hosting their show this weekend,” Sanchez said. “Many may believe that Mr. Trump is just causing controversy so that he can get media attention, but his divisive and racist rhetoric has very troubling and real world consequences,” Sanchez said.
Trump has already recorded the promos for his appearance scheduled for this Saturday.

Hooray!
It won’t happen because ratings a paramount. But it’s nice nonetheless.
The only appropriate reason for tRump to go on SNL is for him to finally scream at the GOP and tell them his run was all a ruse and they are all losers for wanting to vote for him.

Not to thread-jack (well, maybe a little), but I haven’t yet seen anything here on two big stories today:
House passes highway funding bill with re-authorization of Ex-Im Bank: http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/house-passes-6-year-highway-bill-funded-for-3-years/ar-BBmSvRR?li=AA54ur

I certainly agree with the sentiment, but it might have looked less like a political stunt if she had done it last week, or the week before or the week before that - not when the current show is actually being produced. It’s a shame NBC put Trump on, but the “pushback” has been pretty incompetent.
