U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch is slated to announce law enforcement action related to North Carolina Monday at 3:30 p.m. E.T., according to a Justice Department statement.
The press conference comes after North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory announced a lawsuit against the federal government in response to a Justice Department letter saying the state’s new anti-LGBT law violates civil rights.

I’m taking bets! It’s either a 30 day warning of all Federal funds being cut off OR it’s an immediate cut off. I really like the latter!
Cletus, Bubba and the boys are about to find out what power really is.
Is that McCrory crapping his pants that I hear?
OK, NBA. You gave NC its grace period to reverse. Time for you to drop the hammer too.
The majority of people in NC are in for a world of hurt they’re in for in the foreseeable future. There can’t be many Fortune 500 companies willing to relocate there and the ones who are currently there may be looking for the exits so jobs are in question. If Federal funding is cut off, the quality of life goes down in general because private companies aren’t going to want to pony up funds to make up for the loss.
