Ahead of a pair of landmark decisions on gay rights, people began lining up outside the Supreme Court at around 7:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday night, the New York Times reported.

By Wednesday morning, the Times noted, the “line stretched down the front steps and wrapped around the corner.” Officials began handing out tickets and people began entering the building around 7:15 a.m. ET.

The court is expected to begin handing down the final decisions of the term shortly after 10 a.m. ET.
