Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is facing a growing Republican primary field as head heads into his re-election campaign next year, with a third GOP challenger expected to launch his bid next week.

State Sen. Lee Bright (R) told the Columbia State that he expects to make a formal announcement next week. The tea party champion has already launched a campaign website (www.brightforsenate.com).

Bright’s entry in the GOP field will follow bids by businessman Richard Cash and public relations firm owner Nancy Mace. And according to the State, Graham could draw a fourth Republican challenger, with attorney Bill Connor reportedly considering a run as well.

The tea party and other conservative groups have been eyeing Graham’s seat for some time. Club for Growth indicated last year that it would considering getting involved in the race.
