CBS CEO Leslie Moonves said Monday that Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump has been great for his company’s bottom line, but maybe not great for America.
“It may not be good for America, but it’s damn good for CBS,” Moonves told investors at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference, according to Deadline. “The money’s rolling in and this is fun.”
Moonves called the 2016 landscape a “circus.”
“I’ve never seen anything like this, and this going to be a very good year for us. Sorry. It’s a terrible thing to say. But, bring it on, Donald. Keep going,” he said, as quoted for The Hollywood Reporter.
Moonves did not say which candidate had his vote.
