Lawmakers Introduce Bill To Exempt Guns Made In Michigan From Fed. Regulation

More than a dozen Republicans in the Michigan state Senate on Thursday introduced legislation that would make firearms and ammunition produced in the state free from federal regulations, the Associated Press reported.

Critics said the bill, known as the “Michigan Firearms Freedom Act,” was a carbon copy of similar legislation filed in Missouri.
