Documents connected with the shooters who killed three people Sunday in Las Vegas before killing themselves detailed a larger plan to take over a courthouse and execute public officials, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The newspaper reported Monday that a box containing those plans was confiscated from the apartment of a neighbor of Jerad and Amanda Miller, who were identified as the shooters by law enforcement on Monday.
Clark County assistant sheriff Kevin McMahill said during a Monday press conference that authorities believed the attack was “an isolated incident.”
As TPM reported, the apparent Facebook page of Jerad Miller was filled with extensive violent anti-government rhetoric.
But since they appointed themselves to be judge, jury, and executioner, the killers were actually MORE in charge than elected officials and so–to kill the people in charge–they had to kill themselves?
They don’t appear to have been very good at turning their grandiose terrorist concepts into concrete plans. Fortunately for all but the three people they did manage to kill.
