“The Nightly Show” returned Monday night with a late Christmas gift for host Larry Wilmore: the mugshot of comedian Bill Cosby.
“Oh my god, oh my god, it’s Bill Cosby’s mugshot,” Wilmore said. “This is exactly what I wanted! How did you know?!”
Cosby was charged on Dec. 30 with drugging and sexually assaulting a woman at his home over a decade ago. The arrest comes after a year of thunderous and mounting coverage on Cosby’s alleged assaults against women.
Wilmore has been a vocal critic of Cosby. The only satisfaction, according to him, is Cosby’s short perp walk.
“We didn’t forget about you, motherfucker, and neither did the justice system,” Wilmore said.
