If CNN wants to bring back one of its best-known hosts, Larry King is game.
With Piers Morgan on the way out, the struggling cable news network might be in the market for a new primetime interviewer. In an interview with The Daily Beast, the 81-year-old King, now the host of a web program on Ora TV, seemed to have a message for CNN president Jeff Zucker: have your people call my people.
“If he talked to the people at Ora TV and they could work it out, I would do it,” King said.
King was replaced by Morgan after his longtime question-and-answer program on CNN came to an end in 2010.
But between his anemic ratings and an inability to connect with an American audience, Morgan’s show will likely come to an end next month.
