Lance Armstrong will give a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey that is scheduled to air next week, the Associated Press reports.
It will be the first interview with Armstrong since a report from the United States Anti-Doping Agency shattered the cycling legend’s legacy and ultimately led to a lifetime ban from the sport when he chose not to appeal the doping charges. Armstrong was also stripped of his seven Tour de France titles. Reports emerged last week that Armstrong is considering an admission to using performance enhancing drugs.
The interview will air at 9 p.m. EST on Jan. 17 on OWN and Oprah.com.
