CNN host Don Lemon on Tuesday cut off Kurt Schlichter, a conservative pundit, after he repeatedly said Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was an “abuser’s enabler.”
Lemon and his panelists were discussing crude comments GOP frontrunner Donald Trump made about Clinton on Monday, including calling her bathroom break during Saturday’s Democratic debate “disgusting.” Schlichter said he couldn’t care less about the topic.
“Don, it’s gonna take a lot more for me to get upset at a woman who enabled a guy who turned the Oval Office into a frat house and his intern into a humidor,” he said.
Lemon noted that former President Bill Clinton’s scandals while he was in office had been litigated already and again asked Schlichter to address Trump’s comments. Schlichter said the topic was “silly” and changed the subject back to the Clintons.
“He’s running against Hillary Clinton,” he continued. “He’s running against a sexual harasser and an abuser’s enabler. So, again, I don’t know why we’re not talking about that.”
“We’re not talking about that because it has nothing to do with what happened,” Lemon interrupted. “She’s not her husband. Her husband has been impeached over that.”
Lemon’s guests started to talk over him, but the host asked them to let him finish.
“You’re talking about something that happened over a decade ago. The man has been impeached for it,” he said. “She is not responsible for her husband’s actions. Yet you’re bringing it into a campaign and it doesn’t seem fair…If you’re going to talk about Hillary Clinton, then bring Hillary Clinton’s actions into it. Don’t bring her husband’s actions into it.”
Schlichter then criticized Hillary Clinton for “standing with a serial sexual abuser” rather than “women who were being violated.”
Lemon told Schlichter his response was a “low blow” and unfair.
“Yes, I want to end this,” Lemon said as Schlichter continued to screech at him.
“Can we cut him off please?” Lemon asked as his panelists disappeared from the frame. “Thank you. We’re done.”

Kurt Schlichter attacked “My Little Pony”. His hatred and depravity have no boundaries. We live in a sad world.
I have a nine year old. So naturally, I’m a bronie. The show is actually hilarious. Besides Schlichter being a total douchebag he has about as much charm as a snuff film. Surprised Lemon caught that. This kind of bullshit is usually right up his alley.
It’s cheaper than buying an ice cream van I suppose.
