Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) was deployed with his Air National Guard unit earlier this week to serve at the U.S.-Mexico border, his office said in a statement Wednesday.
The move follows President Trump’s decision to deploy an additional 3,750 troops to the border earlier this month, after already sending more than 4,000 there before the midterm elections.
