Rather than walk back his widely mocked comments about Michelle Obama’s weight, Dr. Keith Ablow went even further on Wednesday.
The psychiatrist and member of the Fox News Medical A-Team not only questioned the first lady’s patriotism — reviving a right-wing meme that pretty much died out in President Obama’s first term — he bizarrely suggested that it undermines her credibility to promote nutrition and exercise.
“I’m not taking food advice from an American who dislikes America, who in many photographs during her tenure as first lady is obviously not fit, and who has a record of saying things that show that she’s two-faced,” Ablow told Politico. “This should be obvious; I don’t know why it isn’t.”
Ablow also said people “should be less sensitive about talking about [weight].” He may have been addressing his female colleagues at Fox, some of whom reacted negatively to the comment he made on-air Tuesday.
“And how well can she be eating?” Ablow said of the first lady during his appearance on Fox’s “Outnumbered” show. “She needs to drop a few.”
…blurts the fat, bald charlatan…
Does he still have his credentials from his medical board? He really sounds like he has gone around the bend.
As an ugly American, “Dr.” Ablow, you give someone a good reason to “dislike America”; however, I’m certain that our First Lady is a more generous and forgiving person than you are.
Dang, if they are attacking FLOTUS they got nuthin’.
I wonder if he likes Paula Deen.
