A gunman killed one person and injured another Wednesday before shooting himself at a Katy, Texas business, an NBC affiliate reported.
Houston TV station KPRC had initially reported that two people were killed after a man entered Knight Transportation, 20431 Franz Rd., armed with a shotgun. Police were called to the scene just before 9 a.m. local time.
The shooter was a disgruntled employee who killed his co-worker before shooting himself, the Department of Public Service confirmed to the TV station.
NBC News reported that the shooter, who was fired Wednesday, returned to his workplace and shot and killed a male co-worker before he killed himself.
