A federal judge on Monday struck down a Missouri law which overrode the contraception coverage mandate in ‘Obamacare,’ the Associated Press reported

U.S. District Judge Audrey Fleissig cited a provision in the U.S. Constitution declaring that federal laws take precedence over contradictory state laws.

The law required insurance companies not to provide contraception coverage if individuals or employers had religious or moral objections.
