White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest took a jab Monday at the doctor for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump who penned a letter declaring the billionaire businessman would be the “healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency.”
A reporter asked Earnest during his daily media briefing if Trump was healthier than President Obama.
“Is the suggestion that Mr. Trump’s doctors conducted a thorough medical examination of President Jefferson and President Adams?” Earnest said. “That’s a lot of work — that’s a lot of homework to do — 44 Presidents to take a look at.”
The letter released on Trump’s medical condition read: “If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency.”
“From here, I would not call into question the medical credentials of somebody who decides they are ready to conduct a medical examination of Mr. Trump,” Earnest continued. “That must have been a pretty interesting appointment.”

I like this Earnest guy.
But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Five of our Presidents weren’t elected, so only 39 to check.
I think it’s safe to say that this President, who’s unusually diplomatic and circumspect most of the time, has told Earnest to go ahead and mock The Donald whenever he damn well feels like it. You’ve got to love it—the President of the United States makes it clear it’s policy that this Trump buffoon, of all the 7-plus billion people in the world, is the only one he goes out of his way to laugh at and disrespect.
there isn’t any mention of the colonoscopy… did they have trouble deciding which end to insert the scope?
We can probably give him a pass on William Henry Harrison, though.
