Jon Stewart on Tuesday mocked the pundit class for stoking speculation of a 2016 White House bid by Chris Christie after the New Jersey governor revealed that he underwent lap-band surgery in February to lose weight.
“Some say that he’s running for president, it’s a sure sign,” Stewart said on “The Daily Show.” “Because why else would a 50-year-old man with young children and a loving family take steps to address obesity and extend his life? Why else? It is a classic presidential run tell.”
