Jon Stewart was stunned into silence Monday night on “The Daily Show” by Republican presidential candidate and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee’s (R) comments comparing the Iran nuclear deal to the Holocaust.
“He would take the Israelis and basically march them to the door of the oven,” Huckabee said in an interview with Breitbart News on Saturday.
After playing the clip, Stewart was unable to say anything in response. But he provided a CNN clip.
“I think there’s this Trump effect going on with some of these candidates where they want to say things and double-down on them to get some attention,” said the CNN reporter.
Separately, Stewart revealed that his scheduled guest for Monday night’s show, presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), had cancelled at the last minute.
“And here’s the the good news: My guest tonight was going to be Texas Sen. Ted Cruz! Guess what?! He didn’t make it!” Stewart said. “Apparently he had to be in the Senate to ‘vote’ on some bullshit.”
Instead, the host interviewed historian David McCullough about his new book “The Wright Brothers.”

Genius.
Cubanadian Cruz cancels? Coward.
clever
Actually, Cruz was at the doctor having his nutsack repaired after having his favorite organs removed by his GOP colleagues on Sunday.
Huck should have walked himself into the oven and turned it on to get the full experience.
