All Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump has to do to win the White House this fall is prove “he’s not Adolf Hitler,” a campaign surrogate said Monday.
KABC radio host John Phillips said on CNN he expects framing Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton as “two sides of the same coin,” will be an “effective line of attack” heading into the general election.
“If Donald Trump is going to win the general election, he’s going to have to prove to the public that he’s not Adolf Hitler, which is going to be easy for him to do,” Phillips said.
He continued: “If Hillary Clinton is going to win the nomination, she’s going to have to prove that she’s not Hillary Clinton. That’s going to be much harder to do.”

I’ll respond to the substance of the gentleman’s comments by saying there was a guy in my home town who looked just like him. People called him “Worm.” He didn’t like it much.
I thought Pee-Wee Herman retired??
What I’m hearing is that trump is like hitler right now, and needs to prove he’s not. Let the rehabilitation begin.
" ‘Final Solutions’ that are just stupid not genocidal" … Now there’s a slogan that will resonate with Americans.
Um, no. It’s a lot more complicated than that, John. That said, good luck with that “proving Trump isn’t Hitler” thing.
