“Last Week Tonight” host John Oliver threw up his arms about America’s degrading infrastructure on Sunday after agreeing with none other than TV star and real estate mogul Donald Trump.

In a 20-minute segment urging people to face growing infrastructure problems in the U.S., Oliver was forced to admit Trump had something right.

“Here’s how obvious our need is: just two days ago, even a total idiot agreed,” he said. He rolled tape of Trump at CPAC on Friday.

“We have to rebuild our infrastructure,” the star of “Celebrity Apprentice” told the conservative crowd. “Our roads are crumbling, everything is crumbling, and we’re rebuilding China!”

Putting aside the non-sequitur about “rebuilding China,” an awestruck Oliver had no choice but to agree with Trump.

“That upside-down piece of candy corn in a wig made of used medical gauze is right!” he said.
