John Oliver Uncovers The Conspiracy Behind Cadbury Eggs (VIDEO)

John Oliver exposed the insidious conspiracy theory “that no one has the guts to explain” behind Cadbury Creme Eggs on Sunday night’s episode of “Last Week Tonight” in his homage to YouTube conspiracy videos.

“The Cadbury Creme Egg is a terrible candy that tastes like mermaid placenta covered in candle wax,” Oliver said. “And yet, and yet, these eggs show up in January like gym memberships or movie theaters full of films that will never win Oscars.”

But why? Oliver explains.

  2. Huh. Here I was thinking it would be the explanation of why the number of eggs in the little box went down from six to five last year (MAjOR uproar on this side of the pond). Or why the filling doesn’t completely fill the egg any more…

  3. Oliver missed that conspiracy videos are usually presented at a fast pace by a male calm soothing voice, not in his paused, yelling, outraged mode.
