John Edwards Trial To Start In April

The federal trial against former Sen. John Edwards on charges he broke campaign finance laws by using donor money to cover up an affair during his 2008 campaign will begin next month, the Associated Press reports:

U.S. District Judge Catherine C. Eagles ruled today that jury selection will begin April 12, with the presentation of evidence to start April 23. Eagles expects the trial to last about six weeks.
