Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) continued his call for new gun control legislation Monday in the wake of the Newtown, Conn. shootings. Manchin has an “A” rating from the NRA, but said the shooting “changed” him. On Andrea Mitchell’s MSNBC show, he said he supported new efforts in the Senate to look at gun control in the wake of Newtown.

“We’re looking at everything. Not just the guns, but, yes, Dianne Feinstein, Joe Schumer talking about the multiple clips as far as rounds and clips and Joe Lieberman talking about putting together a blue ribbon panel,” Manchin said. “All of this needs to be done, and, you know, it just really has changed us. It’s changed me.”

Manchin made similar comments on MSNBC’s Morning Joe Monday.
