Vice President Joe Biden joked Thursday at the National Urban League conference that he wished he had a child who grew up to be a Republican.

“I should have one Republican kid who’d grow up to make money,” Biden said, according to a clip of his speech from Cincinnati NBC affiliate WLWT. “You know, so when they put me in a home, I get a window with a view. You know what I mean?”

Biden quickly pointed out that his daughter is a social worker and graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.

“[She] runs an at risk program, at risk youth program for kids getting out of prison and young men getting out of prison” Biden said.
